The TOP TEAM Challenge is a season long competition for team of 3-4 riders who will amass points and scores at Canadian Dressage competitions from April 30 to September 3.
The Teams registered will compete in 3 competitions. Scores from those competitions will be used to determine the TOP TEAM based on aggregate scores.
The three (3) Competitions will be:
Ottawa Dressage Festival - May 18-21, Wesley Clover Park, Ottawa, ON
Caledon Dressage at the Park - June 16-18, Caledon Equestrian Park, Palgrave, ON
Bromont International - September 1-3, Bromont International, Bromont, QC
Teams will be made up of:
1 Open FEI rider
1 Youth rider
1 Adult Amateur rider
1 unspecified rider (optional)
Teams of 3 will use all three scores to form the aggregate.
Teams of 4 will enjoy a drop score (lowest score from each competition).
At each of the designated competitions, riders may ride a different test, in either the National show or the CDI.

The following tests MAY NOT be used:
Freestyles at any level, national or CDI
Young horse tests
Horse and rider combinations must remain the same throughout the challenge.
SCORES FROM CDI LEVEL COMPETITION WILL RECEIVE A 1.5% BONUS
Teams will name their horse and rider combinations and the TEST in which each team member will compete.
In the case of a team member being unable to compete, 3 member teams may substitute a rider ONCE during the challenge. Teams may substitute a rider, a horse, or a horse/rider combination. The ONE substitution will be effective through to the end of the challenge.
TOP TEAM scorers will tabulate Team scores throughout each competition, and publish a “Leaderboard” throughout the competition. Team standings will be available at the end of the show.
At the end of competition at each show, the top three teams will be recognized at the showgrounds.
The conclusion of the TOP TEAM CHALLENGE will be at the BROMONT INTERNATIONAL CDI in September. The TOP TEAMS will be awarded prizes in a ceremony at this show.

TOP TEAM - $2500, neck sashes & merchandise prizes
2nd TOP TEAM - $1000, ribbons & merchandise prizes
3rd-6th TOP TEAMS - $100, ribbons
BEST TEAM NAME will receive a special prize
